The Chamber is a member association of 550 businesses, and provides one-on-one assistance to members to help your business succeed and grow. The Chamber also connects businesses with community life in the Guilderland, Altamont, Voorheesville area and partners with schools, the towns, and other organizations on projects that make Guilderland a great place to work, live, and shop.

LiberteksThe Guilderland Chamber of Commerce announces that Liberteks is sponsoring our Spring membership drive and are offsetting the cost of joining the chamber by $100 to the first 20 new members that join. Area businesses that want to become a member of the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce at the discounted rate can call 456-6611, or email info@guilderlandchamber.com, or reach out to any of the chamber membership volunteers that will be making calls and visits to local businesses.

New members will have a chance to get the $100 off incentive, or a free ad package from April 16th until the end of May. You can also reach out to Liberteks at 452-0550x1 for more information.

First Friday Business Breakfast

A large group of Chamber Members joined Lisa Giruzzi and Mark Grimm for an excellent presentation titled "Beyond Hello" on May 4 at the GCC offices. April Mixer at the Albany Country Club

Members at the April mixerThe Guilderland Chamber of Commerce's first mixer of the spring was at the Albany Country club. Members and guests enjoyed a pleansant evening on April 17th. Paticipants were introduced to the first of the famous 3 Chairs for Guilderland projects.

The first of the 3 Chairs for Guilderland chairs has made its appearance! Created by Linda Cure, this chair was created for the Town of Guilderland.

In the photo on the right, this amazingly decorated Adirondack chair is positioned outside of the GCC offices in Star Plaza. The final location of this chair, and the locations of all the others, will be posted on the 3 Chairs for Guilderland Web site, www.3chairsforgulderland.com.

The University is a major component of our community, and is undergoing major changes and improvements. John and Steve outlined these activities and how they will affect Guilderland, local businesses, and neighborhoods.
