10 - Sole Proprietor/Small Business group meeting. 830am. GCC offices at 2050 Western Ave., This group is only for businesses of 1-2 people. Come meet, talk, brainstorm, and share your business frustrations, wins, losses, and goals with this unique group of small business owners, employees, and partners. 11 - Speed Networking After Hours! 530pm to 7pm at the Best Western Sovereign Hotel 1228 Western Ave., Starts at 530 sharp. Space is limited! Come end your work day by making some easy connections. 12 - Nirvana Indian Restaurant Ribbon Cutting. 5 pm Join us as we celebrate with a ceremonial ribbon cutting as Nirvana Indian Restaurant invites you and the public to come celebrate with them! Located at 5180 Western Ave. All are welcome!

12 - The Huether School of Business Presents The 15th Annual Peter M. Tully Lecture in Financial Services and Economic Development  featuring Michael J. O'Hanlon, Senior Advisor to TPG Capital. Please join us as Mike explores the next market shift in the mortgage industry - how the industry is changing to meet consumers' needs, and what this means for the homeowner. 19 - Women in Business group at A Natural way Café  8am. 2568 Western Ave., Come to this free meeting! Get to know this dynamic group of women and make connections. No RSVP Necessary. We meet the 3rd Thursday of every month. Same time, same place!

22 - Chazz Palminteri will be performing his hit Broadway show entitled "A Bronx Tale" at Proctors in Schenectady. 100% of all ticket sales and revenue will be donated to The Child Reach Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit. GCC members are offered a promotional ticket price of $45 for them and their families, which can be accessed by going to and entering the promotional code "CHAZZ" to purchase their tickets. In addition, by entering the promo code "CHAZZPARTY", members can also buy tickets at the promotional rate of $150, which will include a ticket to the show plus admission to the Backstage After Party hosted by Chazz. General admission tickets are $54.

28 - Come celebrate with us as we do a Ribbon Cutting at Cold Stone Creamery/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory , 11:00 am at Stuyvesant Plaza! Cold Stone/Rocky Mountain will be partnering with Steve Caporizzo's Pet Connection, a charity that finds new homes for pets in the Capital Region. The restaurant will be donating 50% of the day's proceeds to Pet Connection. Also, the first 100 guests who donate at least $1.00 to Pet Connection will receive a free caramel apple! The restaurant will also be giving samples of Rocky Mountain Chocolates and Apples all day!  

31 - 2nd Annual Commercial Real Estate In The Capital Region: An Insiders Look Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Brokers Inc.  5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The Century House Restaurant 997 New Loudon Road, Latham. Learn about the latest local market trends and local common practices from our panel of seasoned real estate professionals in the areas of Retail, Office, Industrial, Multi-Family, Investment Real Estate and Business Brokerage.  Join us for an evening of cocktails, networking, dinner, and listen to our panel of local commercial real estate experts moderated by The Albany Business Review's Michael DeMasi. $30 per person.
