During the White House meeting, ICBA and its leadership community bank members continued their calls for common-sense regulatory relief that will unleash the economic power of the nation’s community banks and the communities they serve. “I was among the leadership of the 100 bankers who had a precedent-setting meeting with the president and vice president,” said Buhrmaster, who is past chairman of the Independent Community Bankers of America®. “During our event both President Trump and Vice-President Pence strongly endorsed community bankers as the economic engines that drive our economy.”
