Welcome to the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber maintains a membership of approximately 600 businesses, and strives to help our members succeed and grow. The Chamber also promotes community life in the Guilderland, Altamont, Voorheesville area and partners with schools, the towns, and other organizations on projects that make Guilderland a great place to work live, and play.
We have a wide range of programs and activities in which you are sure to have an interest. Browse our site and discover what we have to offer, and be sure to contact the Chamber if you have any questions.
Guilderland Stop-N-Hop
Shop-n-Hop - a fun, community-wide event- will run from July 1-Sept 1 in and around, Guilderland and Voorheesville. The game is for community members to visit participating stores and businesses and get game cards signed-the more places the better. Game cards will be available at the Guilderland Chamber in Star Plaza at 2050 Western Ave starting July 1, and at all participating businesses during the two month game. No purchase is necessary, and at the end, participants turn the card- signed by at least 25 businesses- in by Sept. 1 at GCC offices to enter a drawing for one of the 2 top prizes, including a flat screen TV!
The Shop-n-Hop idea came from Brian Clark, owner of The UPS Store in Guilderland.
