First Friday Business Breakfast: State of the Town
On the first friday of January, and the very first Friday of 2012, the GCC held our first FFBB for the year. The topic was the State of the Town and featured a group of fascinating guest speakers. They included Town Supervisor Runion, School Superintendent Wiles, and Library Director Randall. Both Runion and Wiles discussed upcoming budget issues and solutions, and the property tax cap and Randall discussed upcoming renovations to the library that will result in more programming, and also gave an overview of the increasing amount people and programs the library served last year.
T. M. Byxbee Ribbon Cutting
On Friday, December 10, the accounting firm of Anthony M. Gordon, CPA, P.C. celebrated its merger with the T.M. Byxbee Company, CPA’s, NY, P.C. To help with the celebration, the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce was present to perform its traditional ribbon-cutting. T.M. Byxbee Company, CPA’s, NY, P.C. started serving the Capital Region in 1947. This merger will only better the T.M. Byxbee Company in the years to come.
